Creating a sustainable difference for those who lack access to health and educational resources and more.
Elementary school in Hasheba: ISBHA started the school in Hasheba and is currently seeking to improve the quality of education and services available to students and teachers.
HIV support group: ISBHA is working with an HIV support group in Tenedbha (a refugee camp in Sudan), to provide psychosocial and medical support. We are currently working on a proposal for self-sustaining small businesses
Women empowerment and small businesses: ISBHA is working in collaboration with other organizations and interested individuals to create an organized and centralized system to provide support to survivors of gender-based violence and at-risk women.
Food security: ISBHA is preparing a proposal for various projects to ensure food security in Sudan with a plan to scale up to serve Tigray once the corridors to Sudan open.
Energy efficiency: ISBHA identified a great gap in the availability of cooking energy. We are currently working on pilot projects preparing energy-efficient “megogo” and cooking centers that can run electric pans using solar energy.
ISBHA continues to be committed to providing emergency services as they arise to secure housing, nutrition, and medications for individuals and families at different refugee camps and countries (Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, etc.)

ISBHA (International Society for Better Health Access) was founded in 2004. ISBHA’s activities started in 2002, prior to its formal registration as a 501 C. The initial focus of the organization was to provide health care primarily focused on HIV, Palliative care/Hospice, and general care for women and children wherever there was an identified need.
